Doug Jones, a Connecticut native, expresses his passion for music through his compositions and artistic performances.

His career spans over 30 years performing in different venues in the Northeast from the Hartford Jazz Festival to clubs in Newport, Manhattan and Boston as well as South America.

The Doug Jones Group has been performing their original brand of smooth jazz throughout New England for 16 years.

Doug Jones first performance in Venezuela raised the audience to its feet… International piano artist Bertha Finol upon hearing Doug‟s performance in Caracas, stated…. “ this does not happen everyday, this is a rare experience”.

His return as a guest of the Naguanagua International Jazz Festival this year was also extremely well received and Doug has been requested to return next year.
